Box Street Park

Let the parks department know you want a passive park at the new 65 Commercial park (Box St Park), a green space we can relax in and enjoy. Let them know we have enough athletic fields in the area and what we need is passive park.

Demand of City Planning, City Council & the Mayor:

• Amend the 2005 Greenpoint-Williamsburg Waterfront Rezoning to be responsibly site specific, in accordance with the current population & responsive to Hurricane Sandy, rather than favor supersized development.

• A current, comprehensive & non-biased Greenpoint-Williamsburg Waterfront Environmental Review ought to be in order

• Developments with overlapping Environmental Review study areas must state accumulative impacts on the neighborhood
